Resolution Think LLC's joint venture, Cognito Systems, is seeking a Rehab and Physical Medicine Physician to work on site at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, TX. - Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
- Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
- Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
- Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
- Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
- Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols
- Shall have an NPI and DEA registration and the Contractor shall ensure these are renewed/remain current throughout the performance on the contract.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
- Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Certifications
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Board Certification: The DoD only recognizes certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists. Board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
- Experience: One year experience in the last two years prior to contract execution as a PM&R Physician. Time in residency does not count towards the one year of experience..
