Resolution Think is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hands on patient care to active duty servicemen and women. The Occupational Medicine Facility provides civil Service employees care relating to on-the-job injury, illness, and physical examinations for those working in hazardous areas.
Clinic Location: Occupational Medicine Facility, Tinker Air Force Base
Clinic Hours: 0700-1600 Monday-Friday

Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate, perform and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations.
- Complete assigned patient care based on the patients' conditions, use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments, and accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information.
- Observe, identify and respond to the patient's needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care and patient/family education.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular and/or intravenous) and perform treatments according to established policies/procedures.
- Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations, seek assistance of the provider, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions within scope of practice.
- Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and/or specialized practices or procedures, which include preparing the patient, assisting in the diagnostic examination, preparing and handling specialized instruments or other specialized equipment, and monitoring the patient's condition before, during, and following the procedure.
- Orient peers and ancillary personnel to unit policies and procedures, skills, and standards of practice.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
- Effectively uses appropriate communication format in addressing professional issues.
- Performs nursing assessments both in person and over the telephone according to established organizational standards of telehealth nursing.
- Collects and assesses significant patient history information and performs all necessary patient teaching.
- Makes referral appointments and arranges specialty care as appropriate.
- Skill in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as cardiac monitoring devices, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other clinic specific equipment.
- Performs/assists with procedures such as bladder catheterizations, administration of oxygen, visual acuity tests, EKGs, irrigation of eyes and ears, tympanograms, splinting, phlebotomy and other clinic specific procedures, in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and treatments.
- Ensure medication/supplies are replenished.
- Participates in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel, as appropriate.
- Synthesizes data from a variety of sources and makes appropriate clinical decisions.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Education: ASN, BSN, or MSN Graduate from an accredited college, university or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following:
- The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or
- Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Experience: Two years of registered nurse experience after graduation in a primary care setting within the past 5 years. Preferred experience in a DoD Medical Facility within the last 5 years, but not mandatory.
- Certifications: Active BLS obtained through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Licensure: Current, full, active and unrestricted license as a registered nurse.
- Legal Authorization to Work in the United States: The contract worker performing under this contract must be a U.S. Citizen
