Resolution Think, LLC is seeking a passionate and experienced Family Engagement Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to Head Start and Early Head Start grant recipients in the area of parent, family, and community engagement (PFCE). The Family Engagement Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategies and resources to strengthen family engagement practices and build positive relationships between programs and families. This role requires a deep understanding of the PFCE Framework, excellent communication and training skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise, strategies, and resources to Regional Office and TTA staff on comprehensive parent, family, and community engagement, including strategies for building positive and goal-oriented relationships and partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategies for connecting with grant recipient PFCE managers, coordinators and/or other family services staff in the Region to support grant recipients with implementation of Parent and Family Community Engagement (PFCE) goals and early childhood education workforce development.
- Disseminate regional and grant recipient data from existing government systems including data related to family engagement to identify emerging trends impacting Head Start and Early Head Start grant recipients.
- Develop and provide presentations and training on topics related to family engagement.
- Provide training to groups of grant recipients at regional and state events, as directed by the Regional Office.
- Support grant recipients in developing and implementing strategies to provide services to families experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, children with disabilities, and/or other special populations.
- Serve as a liaison between the OHS and the National Center responsible for parent, family and community engagement and as a member of a national peer group of Family Engagement Specialists from each of the twelve regions.
- Provide direct TTA services to individual grant recipients at the direction of the Regional Office.
- Participate in national, regional, and state work groups and meetings as directed by the OHS.
- Support emerging OHS initiatives and priorities.
- Education: A minimum of a BA or BS Degree from an accredited university or college in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.
- If the highest degree was awarded more than ten years ago, the resume should be specific regarding documented continuous learning such as courses, conferences, seminar attended or relevant work experience. within the last 3‐5 years.
- A minimum of three years’ experience related to human services and/or parent, family and community engagement in early childhood programs such as Head Start/Early Head Start and/or community based childcare providers and partners (I.e., FCC, privately owned)
Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ experience
- Experience providing training and technical assistance related to parent, family and community engagement for children birth to five, including work with management teams and program staff.
- Experience using data and helping programs make data driven decisions related to providing services to families with young children.
- Experience in facilitating group discussions and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of formats to include virtual.
- Experience working within programs and/or agencies serving children ages birth to five and families from diverse backgrounds inclusive of but not limited to children with special needs, disabilities, dual language learners, and/or are homeless.
- Experience communicating, both orally and in writing, with the ability to adapt to different size and types of audiences
